Our mission
Protecting the oceans is one of the greatest challenges of our time. But what we don't know and understand, we can hardly protect.
Sail for Seas brings people and the sea closer together. As a non-profit organization, we use a sailing ship as a mobile education and marine conservation platform. On board and ashore, we combine direct experiences of nature with environmental education, citizen science, and scientific collaboration.
People are discovering marine habitats and recognizing how our daily lives and behavior affect the oceans. In this way, experience leads to understanding, understanding to responsibility – and responsibility to concrete action.
The future of the oceans depends on humankind.

Our home
At the heart of our mission is our sailing boat. Our floating home, which will carry us through deep waters, untouched nature, and through every storm.
We're currently still looking for the right boat. We'll keep you updated here and let you know as soon as we find our ideal companion.
