Education is the key

Ignorance is our worst enemy when it comes to protecting the oceans.

What we achieve...

Education is the foundation for sustainable change. We focus on experiential learning , local collaboration , and global knowledge transfer – directly from our sailing ship and in cooperation with coastal communities around the world.

How we proceed...

The floating Classroom

Learning at sea – hands-on, immersive, unforgettable

In the Sail for Seas Floating Classroom, children and young people experience the ocean as a living learning environment. Aboard our sailing vessel, they explore marine life through observation, small experiments, guided discussions and discovery. They learn how the ocean works – and why it must be protected.

Together with a certified teacher and Dive Master, students take part in guided snorkeling activities, observe marine animals in their natural habitat, and are introduced to diving equipment and techniques in a safe and supportive setting.

It’s not just about learning – it’s about wonder, curiosity, and connection. We want to share our deep passion for the sea and inspire the next generation to care.

Our goal is to build lasting knowledge and encourage children to bring their experience and awareness back into their schools and communities.

An innovative and meaningful educational experience – for a generation ready to understand, appreciate, and protect the ocean.

An adventure for life. A school for the sea.

How we support...

Collaboration with local organizations

We support local NGOs such as Trash Hero , Coral Gardening , and other non-profit organizations directly on the ground. These include beach cleanups, coral nursery projects, environmental education, and the establishment of recycling systems.

We help with the organization, provide materials, actively participate in the missions and document the work for a wider public.

We bring not only helping hands, but also reach, educational approaches and international attention.

How we share our knowledge...

knowledge transfer
We pass on what we learn. We share our experiences, observations, and research findings on social media, in lectures, and workshops. Whether in schools, community centers, or at events – we demonstrate what is possible when people get involved. Transparency, honesty, and enthusiasm are at the heart of our work.

In this way, we make the invisible visible and reach people worldwide. Our goal is to raise awareness, spark discussions, and inspire people to protect the oceans.

What is important to us...

Our mission focuses on protecting the environment and respecting local cultures and their people. It is important to us that we...

...take care of the flora and fauna throughout the entire period. Neither disturb nor destroy them.

... to meet people and their culture with respect and as equals and to learn from their traditions and values.

...give something back and support people, schools, village communities and local environmental organizations.

We want to trigger a wave of change!
